What was Featured in the HFPE Folders?

The Enrichment Cottage's first folder was issued in February 2005. We produced these for a year and the following ideas were what was featured. We have compiled our first four "folders" of ideas into a book. We feature the pictures of the sample crafts that were found in the folders. To purchase the book, click here.

The difference between the downloads and printed downloads is these contain two nights and sample crafts and sample invitations.

April 2006 Folder

Theme: Amazing Duos- Midweek Class that features the Visiting Teaching theme with: suggestions for class, refreshments, decorating, and a beautiful and easy visiting teaching route holder.
Theme: Laundry Love- Midweek Class that includes: suggestions for class, lengthy article on the joy of line drying, other ideas and yummy dessert recipe! (6 pages)
Theme: Old Mother Hubbard- Midweek Class that includes: cupboard invitation with poem and pictures, dinner idea with recipes, jar art article with picture.

February 2006 Folder

In The Service of Your Servicemen- A service theme night based on our Soldiers overseas and includes: invitation with picture, ideas for care packages, display ideas, military style dinner with instructions, and more.
True To The Faith- Family Midweeks theme with 4 suggested nights. These nights are based off the Lighthouse theme. It features invitation ideas with poem, family focused craft with picture, refreshment ideas and more.
Breaking Up Cliques- Cliques can be hard for members of the ward and equally hard to keep sisters feeling welcome. Learn how to help eliminate them.

December 2005 Folder

Theme: A Night That Sparkles- A Christmas HFPE theme night that includes instructions for all refreshments, a Christmas ornament craft with pictures, invitations with pictures, a suggestion lesson and ideas for giving it, and more. (8 pages)
Theme: Twelve Days of Christmas- Ideas for twelve classes to go along with this theme! This night includes how to instructions for several of the classes as well as 2 crafts (soap decorating and calling cards) with pictures and instructions! Recipes and where to go for more info included. (10 pages BEST VALUE!)

October 2005 Folder

"Southern Belle" night. This night for "gentle ladies" has feminine poster ideas, mini-class suggestions, exquisite invitation with picture, refreshments fit for Southern Belles, and a beaded rose box craft with picture.
Ants Visiting Teaching Conference.
This night has 19 pages that includes: visiting teaching calendar with print-out, invitation picture and directions, quiz with answers, pictures of night, skit, and much more!

August 2005 Folder

HFPE Theme: Service. "Parable of The Fish" night. This night will include activities for service with the theme of the night. Also includes invitation, recipe and craft ideas, sample refrigerator magnet.
HFPE Theme: Strengthening Relationships. "Celebrations of Life" night. This night is full of ideas and include an e-book on birthday celebrations and traditions, 1 sample craft with instructions and a second craft idea with instructions, and so much more.

June 2005 Folder

HFPE Theme: Self Reliance. "Traditional Home" night. This night is filled with tons of class ideas and includes a financial game, design craft, craft sample with instructions, invitations and refreshment ideas with recipes.
HFPE Theme: Physical and Emotional Health. "Oriental Express" night. This night includes several mini-class instructions (articles), a craft with picture, sample invitations and a sample poster with instructions, and refreshment ideas.

April's 2005 Folder

HFPE Theme: Cultural Arts. "The Fabulous Fifties" night. This night is jam-packed with instructions for all three classes, including a craft, game ideas and refreshment ideas. An awesome sample invitation with copy friendly instructions finishes this night off.
HFPE Theme: Literacy. "The Glory of God Is Intelligence" night. This night includes a sample craft with instructions, a sample handout with instructions, mini-class ideas, refreshment snack bar ideas, and a copy of our first book, Family History: A Record of Generations. (These are now available for purchase separately)
This folder also includes: Early Bird ideas, and two Early Bird crafts, one with a sample.

February 2005 Folder

HFPE Theme: Personal Development And Education. "The Lord Delights In Beautiful Things" night. This is a Relief Society Birthday night featuring all the ideas you need to put this night together, including: sample invitation with instructions, sample craft with instructions, handout ideas, mini-class ideas, table decorating and announcement ideas.
HFPE Theme: Marriage And Family Relations. "Birds of A Feather..." night. This night includes the 15 minute lesson, mini-class ideas, refreshment and dinner ideas with recipes, sample invitation with invitation instructions, and a sample craft with instructions.
This folder also includes a Survey to copy and give out.
