Shopping Mall (HFPE Night)

The Church was set up as a mall, and the Sisters shopped (rotated) to different stores for 7 minute classes. 

We started out at the 'food court' with dinner, then had our RS Pres. report, and a lesson on visiting teaching. 

'dress store' (stitched with love - characteristic of a caring VT),
'shoe store' (walking in others shoes),
'phone store' (listening with love),
'a Cinnabon store' (where we were given our dessert - a cinnamon roll),
'vision store (catch the vision),
'treat store' (ideas of little things to give). 

Each shop had a bunch of handouts and we were all given shopping bags to collect them in.

Here is another idea from Janice Thomas:

We will be serving dinner in the "Food Court" (gym) and dessert will be served from the Mrs. Farthings Cookie Stand, who has several cookie recipes that are Mrs. Fields knock offs.

The classes are: 

The Book Store: a simple budgeting book from Deseret Books that are just like your check registers, that can help you track your budgeting of several different areas while you write your checks!

 
The second class will be the Health/Nutrition store where we will share
Fruit Smoothie recipes. They will all get to sip on a smoothie sample
while they "shop",

The third class is a "Home Improvement' Class:  Quick and Easy household cleaning tips using products you already have but never would have thought to use!  

The final class is my class where I will be at the "Kitchen" store sharing a very simple menu planning class.
