Duties of Relief Society
Enrichment Teacher

Work under the direction of the ward Relief Society counselor responsible for Enrichment.
Teachers should have a strong testimony of the gospel, and should develop a caring relationship with each sister.
Prayerfully prepare and teach by the Spirit.
Use the scriptures and approved Relief Society Curriculum materials.
Encourage the sisters to be involved in the lessons.
Challenge the sisters to incorporate the principles of the lessons in their lives.
Provide a substitute if you cannot attend. Advise the Enrichment Counselor of who you have chosen to teach for you.
Complete the Teaching the Gospel course and attend teacher improvement meetings.
Attend ward Relief Society leadership meetings.
Attend Enrichment planning meetings to assist in preparation of the lesson to coordinate with the evening’s activities. Lesson time is 15 minutes.
