Responsibilities of Food Committee Members

Contributed by: Deena B.

  1. Work with Enrichment Meeting Leader to see if a certain theme is desired and plan the tasting table or meal to be served.  All members of the committee are to be involved and benefit.
  2. Purchase all items needed, save all receipts and give to the chairperson of the committee.  The chairperson will give direction for the amounts budgeted for this activity.
  3. Prepare the food and have it to the church by 6:15 p.m.
  4. Set up the tables, chairs, table decorations and dishes.  The budget is to cover the decorations and the food.  You may contact the High Priest Group Leader or Elder’s Quorum leader to assist in setting up and taking down the tables and chairs.
  5. Serve the food or set up the tasting table refreshments.
  6. Help clear the tables, take them down and put them away (or supervise those Priesthood holders assigned), clean up kitchen and dispose of garbage.
