Inexpensive Birthday Ideas

From the following list, we could come up with an idea for the birthdays of the R.S. sisters. Here are a few examples--but I'm sure you could come up with more.

-We hope your birthday is Memorable and Magnificent--M & M's

-Wishing you a "souper" birthday!--soup mix

-We're here to "root" for you!--rootbeer

-Cleaners - "You add sparkle and make our life brighter!" Happy Birthday!

-Jar of Jelly - jelly is like love - you can't spread it around without
getting some on yourself! Happy Birthday!

Other ideas contributed by various sisters:

Our ward gave everyone a can of sugar from the church cannery for their birthdays. It was a way to stimulate food storage and let us know how sweet we were! They got them from the LDS cannery. They went over and canned them themselves. They are about $3.00 per can give or take some. If you don't have a cannery you could just give them a bag of sugar. Or get some gallon bottles and fill them.
