Service Projects

Comfort Caps for children and women
with cancer.
Pillows and tote bag for those that have breast cancer.
Throat covers for people with cancer, stomas.
Tie quilts for children sick in hospitals.
Hats and scarves for homeless, "project hope".
Toys for the police Department to comfort children.
Socks for the homeless/gloves and mittens for homeless.
Sacks for Santa, in Camden, 50 sack containing toys hats etc. for children in
need.
Families in need in your ward, Christmas.
Cards for elderly and angel cards for ward/branches for Christmas.
Project Sister Share. Different sisters from a different ward/branch receives
these cards each year.

Help with the serving of
meals at a homeless shelter.
Provide hygiene kits for the those places that provide showers for the homeless.
Collect stuffed animals and dolls for the child abuse centers.
Donate food, blankets, clothes, toys, books, etc to respite nurseries.
Spend some time at a nursing home nearby. Provide puzzles, board games, art
supplies, painting kits. etc.
Organize a community clean up project for the neighborhood. (Arrange for
dumpster and have the neighborhood clean their yards and help their neighbors.)
Plant some trees, flowers, shrubs, in a local park.
Visit a nursing home and offer to write a letter or card for someone.
Teach the teenagers in your area how to sew, knit, crochet, etc.
Plant and community garden for the older people in the area and those who live
in apartments.
Serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald house. Bring it and serve it and visit
afterwards.
