Welcoming YW Into Relief
Society

As Young Women Ends
As your time in Young Women comes to an end
You look back with a tear in your eye.
All the things you have done and the things you have learned
And now you are saying good-bye.
You have grown from a little Beehive
To a beautiful mature grown girl.
You have learned leadership skills that will help you
As you enter the big outside world.
We know you look back with fondness
At all the things you've done,
Of weekly activities and girls camp,
And playing in the sun.
We hope you've learned from the lessons
That were given each week with love.
So you could gain love for the Savior and
Have a strong testimony of things from above.
Now you move on to Relief Society
Where you will learn even more.
Things to help as you one day start a family,
Things you haven't learned before.
Each sister will readily welcome you,
So just jump in with both feet.
You'll love having this new experience,
As with these loving sisters you'll meet.
So put Young Women's behind you,
Tuck it deep in your heart.
And walk bravely into Relief Society,
A new adventure, you're ready to start.

Blessings Come In Many Ways And The Nicest Come As Friends
When you decide to join us, we'll be glad to welcome you,
Into our WORLDWIDE SISTERHOOD, and to a group that's new.
So here's a little something to help you on your way,
As you head off for Relief Society and to a brand new day.
You'll need a lesson manual with precious truths inside,
The lessons strengthen testimonies as they are taught worldwide.
Now when you find the meeting great and not a bit absurd,
Just use the pad and pencil to write down every word.
The tissues are for wiping tears when lessons touch your heart,
And we know you will love them all, right from the very start!
Here's a bookmark for your scriptures. Please take them every week.
We'll study them together, as guidance we will seek.
You'll benefit if you will "CHEWS" to mingle with your sisters,
By attending Enrichment Meetings, you'll gain more than hot glue gun blisters.
And last, an invitation in which every word rings true,
"Cause you should know that Relief Society has a special place for YOU !

Your Relief Society Presidency
Our YW have an end of the summer swim party and
invite the RS Presidency and a cross section of RS sisters to mingle with the
girls. The RS presidency present the YW coming into RS that year with the
little bags and goodies to welcome them in.
Another sister on the list said that they welcome the new YW her first Sunday in
RS by presenting her with a jar of homemade jam with a note that says "When you
are ever in a jam, here I am. Welcome to RS."
